  1. Project Name: "Let's Preserve New Life!"

The project is aimed at modernizing and developing the healthcare institution. The capabilities of the healthcare institution for examining and treating patients are being expanded.

  1. Implementation Period: 2023-2025.

3. Applicant Organization Proposing the Project:

Healthcare Institution "6th City Clinical Hospital"

  1. Project Goals:
  • Improving methods for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of pathological conditions of the fetus and newborn.
  • Determining ways for rational management of pregnancy and childbirth in complicated cases.
  • Providing highly qualified medical care to women at high risk of perinatal pathology and their children.
  1. Tasks Planned for Implementation within the Project:

- equipping the department with modern medical equipment;

- purchase of VOLUSON E10 ultrasound machine;

- purchase of INTLLISPACE PERINATAL PHILIPS central perinatal monitoring station;

- purchase of universal modular neonatal monitor ВМ800В NEO for monitoring vital parameters of newborns;

- purchase of Biliflex UOMZ fiber-optic phototherapy system for newborns (Russia) to ensure effective modern treatment of neonatal jaundice;

- purchase of HAMILTON MEDICAL NЕО С-1 or Т-1 transport ventilator for newborns to provide invasive and non-invasive ventilation.

6. Target Group: patients of the obstetric inpatient department (women of reproductive age and newborn children) residing in the areas of attached antenatal clinics and within the framework of the maternity hospital's extra-budgetary activities.

  1. Brief Description of Project Activities:
  • Conducting master classes for staff training.
  • Providing information to the media about the need to improve the quality of medical care.
  • Sending letters to humanitarian organizations and manufacturers' representatives about the need to purchase medical equipment.
  • Monitoring the final situation.
  1. Total Funding Amount (in US dollars) - 120 000.00 $.
