State flag of the Republic of Belarus
The state flag of the Republic of Belarus is a rectangular panel consisting of two horizontally located colored stripes: the upper - red color of 2/3 and the lower - green color in 1/3 of the flag width. Near the pole is vertically located the Belarusian national red ornament on the white field, which is 1/9 of the length of the flag. The ratio of the width of the flag to its length is 1: 2. The flag is attached to the pole (flagpole), which is painted in golden (ocher) color.
In ceremonies and other solemn events, the state flag of the Republic of Belarus is used with a rhomboid -shaped tip with the image of a five -pointed star similar to its image on the state emblem of the Republic of Belarus. Tips are made of yellow metal.

The wreath is overpassed three times on each side with a red-green ribbon, in the middle part of which, at the foundation of the state emblem of the Republic of Belarus, in two lines, the words “RESPUBLIK Belarus” were drawn in gold.
