The Congress of Traumatologists-Orthopedists is held for the first time with the broad participation of leading specialists from abroad. There are about three hundred participants in total. As the guests noted, in recent years, the development of technologies for performing operations and treating various pathologies has significantly intensified in Belarus.
At the opening of the congress, solemn words were heard from Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Karanik, Minister of Health Alexander Khodjaev, Chairman of the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee Igor Yurkevich, and Chief Traumatologist Mikhail Gerasimenko.
Participation in this forum for employees of the 6th hospital is an excellent opportunity for traumatologists-orthopedists to exchange knowledge and experience, discuss problematic issues, and open up new prospects for practical work.
The congress program includes work in 20 sections devoted to various areas and current aspects of modern traumatology, as well as master classes, etc. Discussions are planned on current issues of orthopedic and trauma care, personnel training, ways to improve the quality of educational events, the introduction of innovative and import-substituting technologies. More than thirty reports were prepared by doctors of the 6th hospital, the chief physician Viktor Sergeyevich Anosov acted as a moderator of a number of sections. It is expected that the congress will facilitate the exchange of experience and knowledge, new professional connections and strengthening the international authority of the trauma and orthopedic service for the sake of the health of our citizens.
