Dear citizens, a ban on the acquisition of pyrotechnic products has been introduced in the Republic of Belarus!!!
The corresponding decree was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus.
The introduced ban is due to the increasing cases of citizens, including children, getting injured as a result of violating the rules for using pyrotechnic products.
The decree came into force on January 4, 2025.
The ban does not apply to:
- Wholesale sale of pyrotechnic products by legal entities that have a permit (certificate) for the right to sell pyrotechnic products of technical purpose of IV and V hazard classes to legal entities that have a permit (certificate) for the right to:
- sell pyrotechnic products;
- technical purpose of IV and V hazard classes;
- conduct fireworks using pyrotechnic products of technical purpose of IV and V hazard classes.
- Wholesale and retail trade of sparklers, party poppers, cake candles (cold flame fountains).
From December 14 to January 4, more than 40 people, including 22 children, were injured as a result of using pyrotechnics.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds if you cannot refuse to use fireworks, strictly follow the rules for safe handling of pyrotechnics:
- carefully study the instructions before use;
- prevent the product from tipping over;
- do not point products at people;
- do not lean over ignited or malfunctioning products, do not approach or try to ignite them again;
- launch fireworks only outdoors away from buildings and flammable structures and materials;
