Events conducted by specialists of the "Minsk City Clinical Narcological Center" with minors:
- One-day training sessions on preventing the use of psychoactive substances by teenagers are held at the adolescent narcological department of the center. A group of 10-12 students works with a narcologist and psychologist for 1.5 hours.
Objectives of the classes: providing students with information about the harm of psychoactive substances, optimizing their social adaptation skills, and activating personal resources through interactive learning.
- Conducting a socio-psychological training with students aimed at expanding life competence and developing protective barriers against psychoactive substances in adolescents, with preliminary questioning.
Goal of the training: to maximally delay alcohol use and achieve refusal to use narcotic and toxic substances by forming a fully functioning personality.
- "School of Communication with Children" for parents operates at the narcological center.
Objectives of the classes: to explain to parents the characteristics of adolescence, the psychology of children's growing up, what is meant by preventing the use of psychoactive substances by teenagers, signs of the use of psychoactive substances by minors, the formation of dependence on psychoactive substances, and possible treatment options for dependencies.
