Information about the work of the department of nursing of the State Institution “Hospital of Palliative Care “Hospice (St. Krasnoarmeyskaya, 16A)
The Department of Nursing provides care and supportive treatment services to people with severe chronic incurable diseases (consequences of injuries) who lack or have significantly reduced ability to self-care.
Nursing care for patients includes performing medical manipulations (all types of injections, treatment of stomy openings, installation and flushing of a Foley catheter, urinary tract), blood glucose measurement, ECG removal, advising relatives on patient care issues.
By the efforts of junior nurses, patient care is performed: carrying out hygienic procedures, assistance in dressing, changing diapers, underwear and bed linen, washing, assistance in eating and drinking, assistance in taking medications prescribed by a doctor, sanitary treatment of the room in which the patient is located, prevention of pressure sores in bedridden patients.
The general practitioner of the nursing department works on weekdays from 8.00 to 15.00. In the evening and at night, on weekends and holidays, the monitoring of patients is provided by the secondary medical staff.
Pre-registration for admission to the nursing department is carried out by phone. 379-45-03 on weekdays from 8.00 to 16.00.

Before hospitalization, a contract is concluded between the patient (or his representative) and the Hospice Palliative Care Hospital (hereinafter referred to as the Hospice) for the provision of services at 73A Partizansky Avenue, room 305, Mon.–Fri. from 8.00 to 15.00. In order to streamline the work on concluding contracts, it is recommended to pre-register by phone. 236-15-83.
